Description

THE DESCRIPTION IS IN PROGRESS

A Project Overview

This little self-made dataset contains the about 250 images of the six-sided dice with numbers on the sides, already annotated and ready to train your machine learning models such as YOLOV8 or any other. The result of my own work can be found at my github: https://github.com/gruzdev-as/Dice_recognition.The-computer-vision-project

Methodology

Each photo has from 1 to 8 d6 dice. It is guaranteed that each of the dices has photos of each sides at least once across the dataset. The camera was located about 40 centimeters from the surface. The background is white only. All the dice throws was made randomly, trying to create as much diversity in the dataset as possible.

Current status and timeline

08.09.2023 The project is still in progress. I'm going to expand it in the future with another background color.

10.09.2023 Additional 50+ images were added
