About ON ROAD OBJECT DETECTION Model
This project aims to develop an intelligent on-road object detection and classification system specifically designed for the VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) campus roads, using computer vision techniques and machine learning models. The system leverages a camera feed (converted to RGB format) to detect and classify various objects, such as vehicles, pedestrians, traffic signs, and road markings, in real-time. The inclusion of a GUI (Graphical User Interface) allows users to interact with the system and visualize the detection process effectively.
