Explore Dataset

RBG images of sheep from a UAV. The images are captured in Norway at the locations Storlidalen, Holtan, Klæbu (Klabo), Lønset and Orkanger. In total there are 5038 images. Of those 5038 images, 2837 are annotated and can be found in this project. The remaining 2201 images are not annotated. To gain access to those images contact the project creators Marius Torbjørnsen and Jan Loennechen.

The annotated images contains different classes. Some images contains classes that are based on the color of the sheep, while others only contain the sheep class. In the generated datasets in this projects all the classes are remapped to one sheep class.

There are also IR images avaiable.

The images are captured for a master thesis at NTNU. The images are not captured by us but by formers students that had the same master. Most of the annotated images are also from earlier students. We have gone trough different sources and colleted all the images we could find. We also annotated some of the images.
