Road Recognition Dataset
Description This dataset was created for the Machine Learning for Vision and Multimedia exam at Politecnico di Torino. It contains annotated images of various road elements, including cars, people, bicycles, pedestrian crossings, and other traffic signs. The primary objective of this dataset is to support the development and evaluation of computer vision algorithms for the recognition and classification of road objects.
Dataset Contents The dataset consists of high-resolution images captured in various lighting and weather conditions. The annotated object categories in the dataset include:
- Cars
- Trucks
- People
- Bicycles
- Pedestrian crossings
- Traffic signs (various types, such as stop signs, yield signs, etc.)
Each image has been carefully annotated to include bounding boxes around the objects of interest, there may be errors.
