Here are a few use cases for this project:

Home Security Applications: The model can be integrated into IoT home security systems to identify specific objects or persons in the surveillance footage, triggering alerts based on predefined scenarios. For instance, if a person is detected entering a room where a valuable suitcase is stored, an alert could be triggered.
Smart Homes: The model can be part of the IoT ecosystem in smart homes to automate or control certain functions based on object recognition. For example, turning on/off the fan when a person enters/leaves the room, or indicating if a chair is unoccupied.
Retail Analytics: Retail stores can leverage this model to analyze in-store customer behavior. For instance, how long a person is lingering around a basket, or how often a chair is used in the waiting area.
Inventory Management: Automated identification of objects such as suitcases, baskets, chairs could streamline inventory management in warehouses or stores, providing real-time updates on stock levels and location of items.
Healthcare Monitoring: In an elder-care setting, the model can assist in tracking the activities of the elderly individual. For instance, it can send an alert if the person has been in one place (e.g., a chair) for an extended period of time, helping prevent health issues like deep vein thrombosis.
