Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Pet Food Sorting: This model could be potentially used in pet stores to identify and sort different pet cans based on their images. By not only recognizing the can but also the pet, it could be very useful for smoothly managing inventory and separating products for different types of pets.

  2. Recycle Monitoring: Recycling centers could utilize this model to categorize cans and pet items in recycling bins, optimizing sorting and recycling processes.

  3. Retail Analytics: The model could be used by large retail chains for shelf analysis, understanding if pet cans are correctly placed at the designated spots and to track stock levels.

  4. E-commerce optimizations: The model can be utilized by e-commerce platforms to validate product listings. If a seller uploads a pet can image, the platform uses the model to confirm if the posted description matches the uploaded image.

  5. Environmental Monitoring: The model could be used in surveillance systems to flag any littering of pet cans in public spaces. It can quickly identify pet can litter via CCTV images, enabling swift cleanup and fine enforcement.
