Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Home Inventory Tracking: An application can use this model to help homeowners keep track of their household items. Users could take pictures of each room in their house, and the app would automatically identify and list each item.

  2. E-commerce Product Classification: Online retailers can apply this model for automatic classification of product images. When a seller uploads a photo of their item, the model could categorize the item based on the detected object class.

  3. Home Insurance: Insurance companies could use this model to automate the process of cataloging a client's belongings for policy coverage. The client takes pictures of their home's interior, and the model identifies and logs each item.

  4. Augmented Reality Applications: AR apps could leverage this model to interactively assist users in recognizing household appliances or furniture pieces, possibly providing usage instructions, providing related product recommendations, or supporting interior design planning.
