Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Retail Inventory Management: The "AIM final" model can be used by retailers to automate their inventory management system. The AI can detect the items present on the shelves and compare it with the expected inventory. Any deviations can then be easily identified, making stock replenishment more efficient.

  2. Customer Shopping Experience: In a smart shopping system, the model can be used to guide customers to their desired products inside a store. Customers input their shopping list, and the system generates the most efficient route through the store, based on real-time inventory information processed by the model.

  3. Checkout Automation: Combined with a mobile app, "AIM final" can be used for automatic checkout in stores. As customers add products to their cart, the app uses the model to recognize the items and keeps a running total, allowing for effortless, cashier-less checkout.

  4. Automated Vending Machine: In a smart vending machine scenario, the model could be used to ensure that the right product is ejected based on the user's choice. By visually confirming which item has been ejected, it reduces errors and improves customer satisfaction.
