HEv3 Computer Vision Project
Here are a few use cases for this project:
-
Assistive Technology: "HEv3" can be used in developing applications for visually impaired individuals, helping them identify the objects around them, like headphones, earbuds, pens or fans.
-
Safety Monitoring: It can be used in workplaces to ensure workers safety regulations compliance. For instance, detecting whether construction workers or bikers are wearing helmets.
-
Marketing Analytics: Retailers and marketers can use the model to determine customer preferences in a physical store atmosphere, identifying what products like headphones, earbuds, or phones they are most interested in or interacting with.
-
Smart Home Automation: "HEv3" can be integrated into smart home systems to identify user actions or preferred devices, and automate certain processes. It could, for example, turn on the radio when it identifies a user wearing headphones, or initiate call recording when it spots phone usage.
-
Virtual Reality Applications: "HEv3" could be incorporated in VR/AR platforms to determine user actions or items they are interacting with in the real world, and mirror these in the virtual environment for a more immersive experience. For example, the model could identify when the user is putting on a gaming headphone, signaling the VR game to start.
