Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Sports Training: In sports like archery, dartboarding, or golf, the "alvos" model can be used to identify and label target areas. The results could assist in performance evaluation, score calculation, or help athletes improve their accuracy by providing them feedback on where their shots are landing.

  2. Autonomous Vehicles: This model could be utilized in autonomous vehicles to identify signs or markers on the ground for navigation and location purposes. This could enhance the reliability and safety of self-driving vehicles in various environments.

  3. Robotics: Robots could use the "alvos" model to navigate space by recognizing numbered signs on the floor. This could be particularly useful in warehouses or other large facilities where robots are used for picking and placing items.

  4. Augmented Reality Gaming: In AR games, the model can be used to recognize target signs on the ground. This could be incorporated into gameplay to provide users with targets to aim at or avoid, potentially contributing to an engaging gaming experience.

  5. Infrastructure Surveillance: The model can be used in drones to inspect certain areas of infrastructure (especially in difficult to reach areas) based on the number signs. For instance, detecting marker numbers on airport runways, pipelines, or rooftops. The results could provide crucial data for infrastructure monitoring and maintenance planning.
