Metrics
Here are a few use cases for this project:
-
Quality Assurance in Construction: Use the ArmorBoard model to inspect images from construction sites to identify the presence and correct application of specific Armor-Board types like blue-std, red-std. This can help assure quality in construction projects and identify potential issues early.
-
Inventory Management in Warehouse: Apply the model to automatically track the quantity and location of blue-std and red-std Armor-Boards in a warehouse. By identifying different boards in real-time through security cameras, the system could automatically update inventory counts.
-
Training Machine Learning Models for Automation: Feed images processed by the ArmorBoard computer vision model into machine learning algorithms designed to control automated processes in manufacturing or construction environments. For example, robotic sorting or assembly machines could use this information to correctly pick and utilize appropriate Armor-Boards.
-
Augmented Reality Assistance: In an augmented reality (AR) application, the ArmorBoard model could be used to provide additional insights to construction workers or architects. By recognizing the specific type of Armor-Board in sight, the AR system could display relevant information (like material characteristics or installation instructions) directly onto the user's field of view.
-
Post-disaster Assessment: Use the model in drones or other remote-sensing platforms to evaluate the damage after natural disasters or in dangerous built environments. The model could help identify where specific Armor-Boards (blue-std or red-std) were used, contributing to a more accurate assessment of the overall state and safety of the structure.
