Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Construction Site Compliance: This model can be used to ensure that all workers on construction sites are appropriately dressed with necessary PPE for their safety. It can monitor in real-time whether each individual is wearing helmets, safety belts, jackets etc, and flag any non-compliant workers.

  2. Training and Instruction: The model can be integrated into a training program for newly hired construction workers. It can highlight and annotate proper PPE usage in video or image form, helping new employees understand what equipment they should be wearing in different situations.

  3. Safety Audit Automation: Auditing teams can use this model to automatically scan through footage (like CCTV) of construction sites and tally up any safety violations. This could greatly reduce the manual work previously needed with such audits.
