Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Construction Site Safety: The PPED-batch2 model can be used to enforce safety regulations on construction sites, through the automatic detection of whether workers are properly wearing their mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like helmets and vests.

  2. Industrial Compliance: In industries such as heavy manufacturing or mining where personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, the model can be used to ensure all personnel are in compliance with safety attire regulations.

  3. Training and Simulation: The model can be used in VR (Virtual Reality) or AR (Augmented Reality) training simulations to provide real-time feedback on whether trainees are selecting and correctly using the prescribed safety equipment.

  4. Accident Forensics: In the occurrence of an industrial accident, the model can be used to analyze photographic or video evidence to determine if the involved personnel were in compliant PPE attire at the time of the incident.
