Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Construction Site Safety: This model can be used to maintain and enforce safety rules on construction sites. Given live streams from cameras installed on site, the model can recognize if workers are wearing proper safety gear: helmets, shoes, gloves, glasses, belts etc. Alerts can be sent if a worker is detected without appropriate safety gear.

  2. Factory Safety Compliance: The Safety Model can help ensure that factory workers are adhering to safety standards by identifying whether the necessary protective wear such as helmets, gloves, and glasses are being worn during work hours.

  3. Training & Tutorials: The model can be used for educational purposes in safety trainings. Trainees can upload an image of themselves wearing safety gear and the system can provide immediate feedback on whether all equipment is worn correctly.

  4. Insurance Claims: Insurance companies can use the model to verify and validate if workers had their safety gear on at the time of a workplace accident, to approve or disapprove claims based on those scenarios.

  5. Sports Safety: In sports activities that demand the use of safety gear like cycling or skateboarding, this model can be utilized by coaches, trainers or self-learning platforms to confirm that the athlete is wearing the correct safety gear such as helmets before they start performing the activity.
