Description

Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Gesture-based Video Game Controller: The "janken" computer vision model can be utilized to design a gesture-based video game controller. Users interact with the game by showing tyoki (scissors), guu (rock), or paa (paper) hand signs, which the model identifies and maps to in-game actions.

  2. Sign Language Recognition: Implement "janken" model as a part of a broader sign language recognition system that helps identify, translate and interpret hand signs in sign language communication, assisting both deaf and hearing individuals in better understanding each other.

  3. Smart Security Systems: Utilize the "janken" model in access control and security systems, where users can perform one of the tyoki, guu, or paa hand signs as a unique identifier or key to allow authorized access to locked doors, devices, or software applications.

  4. Hands-free Device Control: Integrate the "janken" model in IoT devices or smart appliances to enable users to control features through hand signs. For example, use tyoki (scissors) to pause/play music on a smart speaker, guu (rock) to increase volume, and paa (paper) to decrease volume.

  5. Educational Tools and Games: Create innovative educational applications and games that use the "janken" computer vision model, including learning activities specifically focused on knowing and practicing the different hand signs (tyoki, guu, paa) and understanding rock-paper-scissors strategies.
