Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Traffic Management and Control Systems: This model can be utilized for smart traffic management systems. It can recognize a variety of traffic signals and signs (e.g. green/red lights, stop/yield signs) and vehicle speeds, enabling automatic traffic flow regulation and accident prevention.

  2. Autonomous Vehicle Navigation: An integral part of an autonomous vehicle's driving system, this model can identify various road signs, traffic lights, animals (e.g., deer), and other vehicles. This will help in real-time decision-making on speed controls, lane changes, turns, and emergency stops.

  3. Traffic Rule Enforcement: This model can be used in traffic cameras to identify if drivers are respecting traffic limits and road signs. It detects various speed limitations and can identify whether cars are over-speeding, not respecting 'oneway' or 'right/left turn only' signs, etc., aiding law enforcement agencies.
