Fire safety equipment (FSE) plays a crucial role in reducing fire risks. However, based on previous research, It is estimated that a third of this equipment would not work properly in an emergency. Fire safety inspectors, therfore, are responsible for performing tasks that involve visual inspection of safety equipment and reporting defects. This project aims to replace the traditional approach of manually checking each piece of equipment and enhance such an inspection using computer vision. To accomplish this task, dataset was created focusing only on fire extinguishers, covering all conditions that must be checked according to the requirements of the Saudi Building Code for Fire Protection.
