Description

This project contains the dataset used to train YOLOv8 Object Detection Algorithm.

All images are acquired using a drone that patrols a Malaysian parking lot. This dataset aims to detect four classes: "Occupied", "Empty", "LicensePlate", and "Illegal". "Occupied" indicates a parked vehicle. "Empty" indicates a vacant parking space. "LicensePlate" indicates the license plate found on each vehicle. "Illegal" indicates vehicles that are parked illegally.

The YOLOv8 algorithm is to used to develop an Integrated UAV-Based Automated Parking Monitoring and Enforcement System.
