Description

Handball Player, Referee, and Goalkeeper Detection Dataset

This dataset is designed to enable the detection of players, referees, and goalkeepers in professional handball matches. Built from annotated images extracted from match videos, it supports tasks such as object detection, player tracking, and event classification.

The primary goal is to assist in developing advanced video analysis tools capable of extracting positional data and key events, such as goals, saves, or fouls. This dataset is part of a larger project focused on trajectory tracking for players and the ball, as well as visualizing these movements on a virtual handball court.

Key Features:

  • Supports the training of object detection models for players, referees, and goalkeepers.
  • Built to enhance video analysis and sports data visualization in handball.
  • Suitable for applications in AI-based match analysis, tactical assessment, and event detection.
