Car Make-Model Recognition Computer Vision Project

The Project contains 5006 samples of cars of 44 different Make/Model. Most of the images are taken from the website Automobile.it. In a second moment the dataset has been further improved with active learning using images from videoframes with a wrong prediction label.
This dataset is used on my Master Thesis about Car Make-Model Recognition from Video. The Thesis also covers the study of Velocity and Trajectory of Vehicles through Computer Vision.
Currently I'm using two YOLOv-8 Networks: the first one is used to detect the car from a Video; the second one is custom trained on this dataset and it's used to classify the car.
