Here, I want to train a AI to alert my smart home if one of our two cats (oskar and willi) is bringing home a mouse/bird... The Camera I use is a reolink 520, directly above the catflap, so the pictures I extract are frontal. This is my first attempt, I can change to side-view, but this is my second choice. If I can sort out the homecoming pray cats, I can order my homeassist to close down the catflap remotely (surepetflap). All this is running over homeassistant in combination with google coral USB. My hardware is a Synology Rs2418+ with actually 36 GB ram, homeassistant running as a VM on the RACK and surepet flap (the big one).
