Here are a few use cases for this project:

  1. Lego Sorting Machine: Engineers could make use of the "aiss_cv" model to create an automated machine that sorts Lego pieces by their class. This would make it much easier for children or adult hobbyists to find specific pieces they need for their projects.

  2. Educational Tool: The model could be integrated into an educational software or app aimed at teaching children or adults about different types of Lego parts. The app may offer an interactive interface where users can select a Lego piece and the AI identifies and presents information about it.

  3. Inventory Management for Retailers: Toy stores and retail companies can leverage this model to help in inventory auditing of Lego sets. They can use this model to quickly identify and record the quantities of individual Lego parts in each set.

  4. Assisting in Lego Construction: Using this computer vision model, an app could be created to assist users in assembling a Lego set. The app could instruct which part to use next, verify the correct part is used via a camera scan, and lead the user step by step through the process.

  5. Quality Check in Manufacturing: Manufacturers of Lego can utilize this model to automatically inspect and verify if the correct Lego parts have been included in each boxed set before it's sent out for sale. Any anomalies or missing parts can be detected in real-time.
