Robot League

A group of Iowa State University electrical, computer, and software engineering majors put together the robot league as an Embedded Machine Learning senior design project.

This project is a small game of soccer played by two "robot" cars. The model consists of 5 objects to be detected: red front, red back, blue front, blue back, and ball. The red/blue shapes are on top of each car, and they allow the computer to "see" where the cars are located and which direction they are facing. The ball is a tennis ball, and is what the cars are trying to push into the goal.
